How a Diaphragm Pump Works
The pump is driven by an AC or DC motor
In front of the motor is a valve assembly containing two to 5 valve pump chambers. Each and every valve chamber has a diaphragm guiding it in the reduced pump housing. As the motor shaft turns, an inside cam positioned guiding the diaphragms triggers the diaphragms to be pushed CZPT, then back again in a ongoing sequence making a suction. As this suction builds, fluid is pulled by means of the inlet, by means of the various valve chamber verify valves to the outlet
The quantity of movement is decided by several factors including: The number and dimensions of the pump chambers, cam offset, working pressure, fluid viscosity
